What happens to collected waste?

What happens after collection and delivery to our facilities?

Separation and dismantling

The waste first is separated according to categories by type of equipment, then it is dismantled, metals, plastics, batteries and PCB board with it’s components is separated and it undergoes further separation by material type and value.

Check-up

After that, all data containing components are destroyed or wiped and we check if any of the remaining components can be re-used again.

Re-usage or smelting

Components which can be re-used are separated, cleaned, re-packed and sold, the rest of the materials are forwarded to smelting facilities to extract and transform it into base chemical elements like Au, Fe, Al, Cu, Ag… to be re-used again in various industries around the world.
